01Logging a bet

Unitley never places a bet. You place it at your book, then log it here, with the price you got and your stake.

By hand
The Log a bet form takes one straight bet: what you bet on, the odds, the stake and when. Pick the game it is on and a moneyline, spread or total settles itself; leave it unlinked and you settle it yourself.

From the analyst
Tell the web analyst what you placed and it logs it, parlays included, and can link it to the game.

The same with log_bet over MCP or the REST API: moneyline, spread, total, player prop or parlay, with the game it was on.

02Settling

Graded from the final score, checked twice.

Every five minutes Unitley looks for open moneyline, spread and total bets on games that have finished, and grades them against the final score.

The game is final
nflverse's schedule marks the game final, with the score. Settle a called-off game's bets as void by hand.

A second source agrees
BALLDONTLIE has to show the same final score. Without it, Unitley waits 24 hours after kickoff before grading; if the two disagree, it holds the bet for 72 hours, and then the schedule decides.

The bet is graded
Won, lost or push, with the profit from the odds you logged. Your bankroll, ROI and record update with it, and the bet shows it was settled automatically.

Settled by you: Player props, parlays and any bet not linked to a game. Mark it Won, Lost, Push or Void (a push or void gives the stake back), or reopen it to change your mind.
The time limit: Bets on games more than 30 days old are left for you to settle.
Mistakes: A bet logged by mistake can be deleted.
